    I am saying that I agree with J. Crew. These reactions are absurd.

    In addition, ads portraying girls playing sports and doing “boy” things aren’t ever brought into light like this. Why should it be any different for boys?

    Definitely absurd. My favorite color was pink when I was that kid’s age. Mom and Dad didn’t really care but when I got pink sunglasses at the dentist, they did explain that it wasn’t particularly socially acceptable. That pretty much nipped it in the bud for me.

    I struggle to see how liking a certain color is confusing to a child. Liking pink or blue doesn’t make me more or less of a man, it just means I know what I like.

    And painting your nails? Who cares?
